My blogging experience

Hello, today I write my final post in this blog.

So, it´s necessary evaluate this blogging experience; and I have to say that I enjoy my blogging experience, even when I have problems with the account to sign up to blogspot, and so, I have to create a new account of gmail. And then I forgot my new account or my password.

I don´t think starting my own blog for this moment. Although I like writing, I think that I don´t give the time necessary to update it.   Maybe latter, why not? I think that is an interesting exercise to practice any language, the grammar and the vocabulary. And for this reason I enjoy the blogging experience, because helps me improve my English.

Ideally, every Thursday I had to write in English my opinion related to a specific or free theme, and thinking in English that I was thinking in my native language, spanish. Actually, I love this exercise and I enjoyed that practice. Because I think that the best way to learn a new language is involve with personal or dairy situations.

I believe that the best way to create knowledge is learning by doing, and the practice of English with the blog it´s a perfect example of this.

My trip home

Hi readers!

Today i want to tell us about my trip home.

Every day, in working days, i back to my home when the sun has gone. When all people try to go to his home, as fast as possible, between the cold and between the traffic. In the middle of all people tired and worried, i´m enjoy my daily trip home.

As I live near at the university, I choose to let my bike in home, and walk around half hour, seeing the beautiful architecture of the streets in my way, listening and singing my fauvorite songs, or just thinking about my day.

I love the street there are between the school and my house. I love the lacking brightness of the lights, it´s like the road was old and laying down to rest.

I love find art´s students in the way, people doing freedom performance publically, using the public spaces and living the city, playing music, sharing, dancing.

I love Brazil´s square, his passer-bye and visitors, his colours, his sculptures.

The trip home it´s an excellent opportunity to recharge energy and back to breath quietly. So, enjoy you trip home J

Hello, Today I want to tell us about the career related website that I visit every day.

Actually that is my facebook! And it is not for the reason that you´re thinking, it´s because here i can check a lot of website that are interesting for me. For example, I can check the update post of: Ministerio del Medio Ambiente. It´s is the organization responsible about environment, and here they publish news and articles related.

Also, I can see the recent post of Tetra Punk or La fabulosa minga sustentable, and read interesting articles that they share, or notify me if there are a new practical workshop. Both, are groups that work to promote recycling and reuse. The last of the, is a non-profit organization that works with ecological brick; eco-brick.

Another website are Plataforma Urbana: http://www.plataformaurbana.cl/ It´s a good website about urban planning. You can find news, articles, research about public space and urban designing, it´s about the city and the use than people giving it. It´s a fantastic site for find recommendation for books or conference related. And Biosustentavel: http://www.autossustentavel.com/ This site is like la bioguía: http://www.labioguia.com/ but wrote in Portuguese. With this page besides read about the three R´s for the environment: Reduce, Reuse and Recycle I can practice other language.

My favourite movie...

Hello everybody! Today i had to choose one of my favourite movies for tell us about it, it was difficult for me, but finally I chose:

The Tree of life

The plot is not so clear, because you can interpret the film in many ways, it´s a film very intimate, and his storyline is not traditionally linear. Even though, I can say that it´s about Jack and his family. A traditional family from Texas, USA in the 50´s decade. The film covers the delicate relationship with Jack and his parents, the opposite between the gorgeously image of  Mrs. O'Brien and the harshness bearing of Mr. O’Brien with Jack, his two little sons and with his wife too. We can interpret it like the abyss between the heaven and the earth.

In the Tree of life acts leading actors like Sean Penn in the character of Jack; Brad Pitt like the father and Jessica Chastain like the mother.

I love this film because have a beautiful photography, I love his different speed and the personal extrapolation that you can do with your own life.

Finally I love this quote:

Auto Biography

Welcome to my blog!

My name is Kita Rouda, ok, my nickname or something like my pseudonym, because in the real life, my name is Catalina Marchant. I was born on the 28th December in Santiago, Chile. I´ve live in this city all my life although my father is from Curicó, a city nearly three hours to the south of Santiago.

I studied in a municipal high school, since seventh grade to the graduation.  Then, I went to the University for studied Public Management, at Universidad de Chile.

My family is share out between the city and the field. My family for mother ‘side lived in Santiago; My grandmother, my mother of course, my brother and sister, and my two uncles. My maternal family is very short in comparison with my father´s family. My paternal family live in the countryside, in a place thirty minutes from Curicó.

I have many hobbies, but actually, now, I don’t spend the time that I want in its. I love cycling and all about it. I like riding on my bike, reading articles and go to cycling event for make to Santiago a “pedaleable” city, a better city for transporting in bike. I love listening music and I have to finish learning to play the acoustic guitar! I love dancing and go for a walk with my old friends.

I have a cat called Moshiro Motrilo, even though everybody called moshi. I love him; he is the best cat in the world. In the countryside I have two dogs; Pinto and Nouli, they are the best partner for go across the ways.
